Artist Direct describes Green River Ordinance’s music as a “blend of Southern attitude and epic pop for a brand of rock all their own.” In 2006, they were named Best Artist of the year, had the Rock Album of the Year, and the Song of the Year at the Fort Worth Music Awards. In 2008, they repeated as Artist of the Year.
7:00-8:15         Collective Soul
Globally known for mega-hits such as Shine, December and The World I Know, Collective Soul hails from Atlanta, Ga., and has produced 7 No. 1 singles and sold over 10 million records. Tremble For My Beloved appears on the gold-certified soundtrack for the hit film Twilight. Their debut album for Loud and Proud/Roadrunner Records is schedule for release Aug. 25, 2009.
8:45-10:00       Gavin DeGraw
Gavin DeGraw spawned the hit singles In Love With A Girl, and the gold-certified We Belong Together. He returned to the charts this year with Free, a stripped-down 9-track collection of songs. Immediately following the release Gavin hit the road for his sold out Where It Began tour taking audiences on a musical journey back to his roots for a series of intimate full band and solo performances.
