Shannon Deatrick graduated from Waukee High School in 2015, and has since moved to Kansas City to further her artistic practice. She is currently in her junior year at the Kansas City Art Institute, pursuing a BFA with an emphasis in Painting. Aside from her studies, Deatrick works as a Resident Assistant on campus, and enjoys breakfast, the outdoors, and list-making.
