Artist bio: Debo is a full-time artist living in Tallahassee, FL with her wife and their multiple doodles (the exact number can only be ascertained by stopping by her booth!) She comes to mixed media by way of ceramics and incorporates that attitude into her paintings using texture and polymer clay to create the feel of pottery in 2D form. Her images reflect her love of gardening, birds, animals, and the water.

Artist Statement: Handmade, paper thin sheets of polymer clay in a plethora of patterns and colors are collaged to create the subject matter in each painting. Textured acrylics are used as a compliment in the negative space in such a way that requires the viewer to closely engage the work to make the distinction.
