Artist bio: Creating is what I enjoy most. Lucky enough to have the time to participate in creating, I have been painting in oils on birch panels. I also create the sets for a small theatre after retiring from teaching for 30 years.

Artist Statement: I hope to encourage people to examine those objects typically discarded, I have stacked and piled them into towers before recreating this experience on birch panels using glazes of oil paints to create rich translucent surfaces.
