Having studied advertising design in art school in the New York City area, my first hand exposure to world class art, especially the abstract expressionists, made a lasting impression on me that influences my thinking to this day. I take a minimalist approach to my images, digitally incorporating hand made texture layers into the photographic image to portray impressionistic, “quiet places”… a peaceful point of view.
