Artist bio: Jeffrey Dallas was born and raised in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The tall pines, rolling hills and rushing rivers became a stage for his imagination. Art became the outlet for his dreams. He studied art at MCAD in Minneapolis and illustration at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. In college he focused on figure drawing and after college he fell in love with the landscape and expresses this though his painting.

Artist Statement: I paint with acrylic and oil paint on stretched canvas. I use liquid mediums to build up thin, translucent layers with brushes or gel mediums to build up thick texture with a palette knife.
