Artist bio: I have been a documentary photographer based in Chicago for over 30 years. As such, I have worked on some amazing projects such as Romania 1990 after the wall the came down, City 2000 project with Richard Cahan and the Comer Foundation and Journey of Faith, a book by the Chicago Archdiocese.

Artist Statement: My images are studio portraits of objects taken out of their natural context. I use a dual lens flatbed scanner as a camera and treat the resulting images as a traditional photograph. My images are purely photographic and purely digital yet obscure the transition between the familiar and the new.
