Date: June 29, 2019
"Incredible voice, talent and heart" - Charles Walton, The Examiner.

Bonne Finken was born to sing. By immersing herself into a decade’s worth of studio work, learning composition by ear and writing her own award-winning electronic/rock music, Finken has also become known as one of the midwest’s most memorable musical artists.

Awarded ‘Best Local Musician’ by Des Moines’ Cityview Magazine, Finken quickly made a name for herself in Des Moines’ local scene began to discover herself as a
composer and songwriter, in addition to a live performer.
Numerous songs written by Finken have reached as high as #1 on college radio across the nation and have been featured on commercials and national television shows (MTV, E!, Oxygen, etc.) The attention her albums garnered led to gigs with nationally recognized acts like The Verve Pipe, KT Tunstall and Joan Jett and landed Finken an official showcase at the South by Southwest conference in Austin, TX.

Finken hit the ground running, performing over 100 shows a year. Summer of 2014 saw the groundbreaking release of Finken’s third independent album, “Fairytales/LoveAffairs”, which included collaboration with multi-platinum talents Brandon Darner (The Envy Corp), Matt Sepanic (Slipknot) and Michael Krompass (Smash Mouth, Nelly Furtado, Natasha Bedingfield) along with trusted producer and bandmate, Jon Locker.

Nominated as "Album of the Year" by Seattle's Indie Music Digest, Finken changed the scope of her local scene when she became the first independent Iowa artist to receive regular rotation on Top 40 radio station STAR 102.5FM (KSTZ) with her single 'Step Back Baby'.

In 2016 Bonne received an Emmy® award as Composer and Music Director for the documentary "FarmHer" by Iowa Public Television. Summer 2019 will mark the release of Bonne's third full-length studio album. Stay tuned to her website and social media for upcoming news and tour dates.
