PLEASE NOTE: The information has been updated as a result of school closures and their projected return date.
Hubbell Homes, Des Moines Art Center and Des Moines Arts Festival® are proud to host the Student Art Exhibition (SAE). The SAE is a program that spotlights the creativity of children K-12 attending schools in central Iowa through special exhibitions of their artwork at the Festival and Des Moines Central Library.

Students’ artistic achievements are on display in a special exhibition on-site at the Festival. On Saturday morning of the Festival, students are celebrated at the Visionary Artist Ceremony. And in the Fall, Hubbell Homes hosts the Student Art Exhibition Reception at the Des Moines Central Library on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 6 p.m.

Each student is rewarded a Medallion and Des Moines Art Center Household Membership. In addition, participating teachers each receive a household membership to the Art Center and a chance to win one-of-five $250 awards in art supplies.

To participate in the Student Art Exhibition, area teachers must review the Official Guidelines below and then complete the School and Student Artwork Information Form on or before Friday, May 1st.
