WHAT WORKS IS A WORKSHOP BASED ON SHARING THE COMMON BEHAVIORS OF SUCCESSFUL ARTIST ENTREPRENEURS.
These tenets are based on working with thousands of artists and are the basis of the Artist INC program.
In the What Works Workshop, Artist INC Peer Facilitators share these behaviors as well as share personal/professional examples of their own and leave artists ready to apply them to their own art practice.
Workshop presenters are drawn from the pool of peer artist facilitators. These working artists come from a variety of disciplines and have demonstrated success in the business end of their artistic career and speak directly to artists’ concerns in building sustainable careers.
These workshops are open to the public at no cost. Dates are: Monday, December 7, 2020 at 6:30pm and Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 6:30pm over Zoom. Registration is required (see form below).
The workshop includes discussion of:
- Goal setting and planning
- Portfolio careers and multiple income streams
- Strategic networking
- Financial planning
- and more
The last thirty minutes of the workshop is dedicated to Q&A, allowing for direct interaction between the artist peer facilitator and the local artist community.
This workshop includes a complimentary What Works workbook that offers participants goal-setting and strategic planning exercises, a marketing checklist, and inspiring prompts to “make art work.”
