Artist Bio: Michael Cherepak is from Indiana. Went to art school in Kansas City, Missouri and Cleveland, Ohio. Worked an Architectural Illustrator for 20 years and as an Industrial Designer at Hallmark for 10. Now is the time for art. Making images that lure you in with their joyful color and sense of play.
Beauty in ascension is easy...the budding flower.
I like the complexity of descending beauty.
A flower as petals begin to limp. My one eyed dog, Tonto.
Beauty on the decline is more brave, rich in story, interesting in its instability. Recent work incorporates and explores these thoughts.
