Alex Miller is an Award Winning sculpture artist who graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor's degree in studio art with an emphasis in sculpture in 2025 and is an aspiring musician. Alex works in a variety of mediums primarily through watercolor and ink paintings, and small-large scale metalwork sculptures.

Alex’s metalwork sculptures intend to capture imagery of the working class through the use of instruments, musical and machinery found in factories, mechanic shops and other blue collar environments. This work is intended to invite conversation and to bring viewers together. In a much similar way that music is a universal language, so is art. Alex’s paintings while, much different in nature, to his sculptural work also reference music through the characters created. Alex creates characters and come up with works of fiction around them and imagine who they are not just on the canvas but in the world they live in inside his brain.
