Amanda grew up on the banks of the Mississippi River in Bellevue, Iowa where she discovered her love of art. She continued her education at Iowa State University where she got a BA in Apparel Design and Art & Design.

After living on the west coast for a number of years, Amanda has settled back in Iowa with her family. She has taken a short break from showing art in recent years to give birth to her two children.

Amanda is currently working form her home studio to create her newest body of work that explores her favorite part about being a mom; making those around her feel seen, safe, and loved.
