Kate Norris is a Baltimore-based collage artist who creates figurative works using torn and layered vintage wallpaper. Inspired by historical anatomical, scientific, and natural history illustrations, she reconstructs birds, human forms, and skeletal structures through the careful assembly of patterned fragments. The decorative language and fibrous texture of wallpaper become both material and subject in her work.
