Born in 1945, Michael is a largely self taught designer of wooden musical instruments fahioned with an emphais on visual aesthetics and acoustic beauty. He ha exhibited at juried art events since 1974 a a full time artist. His work can be found in art and fine craft galleries in various regions of the United States and ha been used on stae and in recordings by a lengthy list of well known musicians ranging from Paul Simon and Kenny G to Ben Harper and Yusuf Lateef.
