Nate Freberg is a Central Wisconsin–based furniture designer and builder who creates handcrafted wooden pieces that blend function, beauty, and everyday usefulness. He believes that art doesn’t need to hang on a wall to be meaningful—instead, it can live in the objects we touch and use each day. From clocks and candle holders to chairs and coffee tables, each piece is made to bring purpose, joy, and thoughtful design into the daily routines of his customers.

Nate holds a BFA in Theatrical Design from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, a background that continues to shape his artistic approach. He views art as a relationship between the work and the person who encounters it. That philosophy drives his minimalist and mid-century modern designs. By stripping away the unnecessary, Nate focuses on highlighting what’s most important, creating pieces that feel timeless and deeply connected to the user. His work celebrates the natural beauty of wood, aiming for simplicity that is both functional and enduring.
