Artist Bio

I blend traditional craftsmanship with innovative surface treatments, reflecting my deep admiration for Mid-Century art. Using both hand-building and wheel-throwing methods, I create forms that are not only functional but also sculptural. My choice of bold colors and geometric patterns pays homage to the vibrant aesthetic of the Mid-Century movement, while the incorporation of printmaking techniques allows me to experiment with layering textures and designs. This combination results in pieces that are visually striking and invite closer inspection.

I use the potter's wheel and hand-building techniques to create ceramic forms while the surfaces are done using slip transfers, underglazes, and glaze over multiple firings. This combination results in pieces that are visually striking and invite closer inspection.
