Artist Bio

I started making ceramic jewelry in 2017 after 10 years of working as an elementary art educator. I wanted to create playful, bold, and unique jewelry pieces that were still elevated. My work is inspired by my years in the classroom and the notion that art should be fun to make and to buy. My wearable works of art are meant to bring joy to those who wear them.

All of my pieces are sculpted or cut from porcelain slabs by hand, and my glaze work is individually hand painted in layers to create unique surface patterns. I use gold and mother-of-pearl overglazes to create elevated details on many of my pieces. Bright colors, vibrant patterns, and whimsical subject matter make my jewelry unique.
