Susan K. Theroff is primarily a self-taught artist whose work focuses on the natural world, its birds, insects, plants, and symbolic meaning to humans. She creates art that elevates elements of nature to remind us of its intrinsic beauty & healing abilities for our body, mind & soul. The human tendency to find meaning in nature helps us navigate the world, find purpose & feel connected to the large symphony of life. Susan describes herself as an eternal optimist who believes in magic & dreams. She resides on a small farm with her family in Northeastern Kansas where she maintains a studio practice.
