Alyssa Pinkerton’s art is a celebration of light, landscape, and the human experience. With each piece, she invites us to pause, reflect, and feel the joy that beauty and nature bring. While she’s enjoyed working with charcoal, pen and ink, silk painting, watercolor and batik over the years, her current work is in oils. Her recent paintings are characterized by vibrant color, dynamic brushwork, and a keen focus on light. Often drawing from her travels and time in nature, Alyssa captures the emotional essence of a place.
Alyssa has been an artist all her life, using whatever materials were at hand to create, build, design, and play. Growing up on five acres of a retired citrus grove and spending summers in Western North Carolina, she garnered an early affinity for the outdoors and trees especially. Her passion for nature has remained a constant source of inspiration and work invites viewers to experience moments of awe and wonder through her unique perspective.
