Hanna Piepel is an interdisciplinary artist exploring the intersection of illustration and design with her ceramic practice. Her current body of work tends to jog memories from the past, with surfaces reflecting a spontaneous mix of florals, abstract forms, and color. White porcelain is a blank canvas for her screen-printed illustrations and slip-painted designs. Hanna enjoys teaching beginners and exhibiting her work at juried art festivals and galleries around the US. Hanna's illustrations can also be found in several published children's books.
