Artist Bio

I've worked with copper for 25 years creating geometric based sculpture for the wall. I fabricate 3-D forms from wood which I then clad with copper. I use over 70 different hammers and tools to create textures. I often create fold form elements which are made by repeated heating, folding and hammering to create innovative textural shapes. My passion is the coloring of the metal with chemical formulas, a process called patinization. I use wrapped, buried and applied hot and cold processes. Each of my pieces are one of a kind.
