Shawn grew up in Salt Lake City. He attended the University of Utah studying photography, painting, and film making, graduating in 1995 with a BFA, photography emphasis. He now practices his art in a small town in Colorado, living in a house built in 1890, on the boarder of New Mexico. He shares his work at the occasional art fair and can be found in a handful of galleries across the country.
