Art, for me, is an exploration of transparency, movement, and structure. Working with oils, acrylics, oil pastels, and inks, I create layered compositions that merge the fluidity of nature with the geometry of architectural forms. My technique—building overlapping, translucent layers—results in abstract works that evoke reflections on water, shifting light, and the interplay between organic and man-made elements.

Originally from Chicago, I have lived in Central Florida for the past 35 years, where the landscapes and waterways have profoundly influenced my work. The stillness of a lake, the rhythm of ocean waves, and the way light dances off a cityscape all serve as inspiration. In my large-format paintings on canvas and wood panels, I aim to capture the essence of these fleeting moments, allowing the viewer to interpret and connect with the work on a personal level.
