Alice Vander Vennen has been a professional mixed media and textile artist for over 30 years. She has shown extensively across North America and her work is in private and public collections here and abroad. Alice is represented by one of Canada's leading galleries, OENO Gallery. In 2023 she was artist-in-residence at the LM Studio in Hyéres, France. A child of parents who left war-torn Holland, Alice's art seeks to capture stories of loss and hope, courage and strength, finding the narrative in gathered textiles from divergent cultures, sculpted with found objects.
