Kansas City based visual artist Chris Dahlquist has exhibited extensively throughout the United States in a variety of traditional and non-traditional settings including art galleries, art fairs, and large-scale public installations that allow audiences to interact with photographic objects in unexpected ways. Dahlquist’s works are in hundreds of individual, corporate and civic collections and have won numerous awards, including a curatorial award from the Houston Museum of Fine Arts as well as grants from Mid-America Art Alliance and the Kansas City Arts Council.
