Artist Bio

I’m happy that I found the way to express on silk my visions dreams and even never written letters.
Batik making process is interaction between hot wax silk and dyes. All batik images are covered by layers of color and wax cracklings, which often gives a unique character to an artwork; after the original outline disappears and new unexpected variations of colors and lines come out.
This unpredictable nature of batiking process made me addicted years ago and it still keeps me going….
