The mind will often wonder when not intentional about a subject or thought - this silence is what I enjoy the most. My artwork never is something that is planned but rather an unknown product of my mind's chaos. When I create a piece, I am just as excited to see the outcome as my viewers. People often stop and ask, "Why the faces" and "Is it you"? Honestly, I wonder to myself why the faces of people fascinate me and why they all have my prominent nose. The subconscious mind can be a fascinating place full of questions you may not ever understand. As I throw my quill ink and draw without intention, I get excited every time to see what my mind has to say.
