Artist Bio

Lee Rentz has been a photographer for his entire adult life, professionally for 34 years. After graduating from the University of Michigan and Utah State University, he worked as an artist and later director of an upstate New York nature center. Following that, he became a full time photographer with interests in architecture and nature, and publication credits in hundreds of places, including National Geographic and the New York Times. After years of darkroom work, he now prints his work on a digital printer in his studio. Every photograph is a labor of hard-earned skill in the field and studio.
