John Richard is a documentary filmmaker from Iowa City with a background in photojournalism. John’s work combines a strong visual sense character-driven storytelling that often connects Midwestern history with personal themes. He is currently the Films Coach at the Daily Iowan student newspaper and will teach photography this fall at the University of Iowa.
