Faithyna Leonard
From Page to Stage: Adult Poetry Out Loud
Saturday, June 27
1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
Roots Stage presented by Cedar Ridge Distillery

Faithyna Leonard is a queer, agender, disabled poet whose work emerges from a need for survival, spiritual growth, and truth-telling. Raised in rural Iowa, they found in language both refuge and revelation, shaping poems that honor the unseen and give voice to the misunderstood. Their writing challenges the notion that identity is political, asserting instead that human rights are fundamental. Through deeply personal yet collective narratives, Faithyna creates space for resistance, healing, and radical acceptance.
