Kelsie James is a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, originally from central Iowa, who is currently pursuing a degree in Songwriting at Belmont University.

James’ music is described as vulnerable, emotional, and raw, inspired by the work of artists from past decades. She brings an enchanting and spiritual aspect to her performances and consciously avoids being defined by a single genre or style, preferring to let her music speak for itself.

Her debut EP, Songs About Daisies, was released in February 2023, earning her a nomination as one of five artists for the Iowa Music Awards Country Artist of the Year. She followed this success with her first full-length album, Kaleidoscope Soul, released in May of 2024.
