Margaret Baker is a painter of moments-in-between, those mundane, ordinary moments of the past that seem to take on great significance in memory. Her oil paintings come from old family snapshots from her history and from those she collects. Her interest in painting moments and old family photos came from a fascination with the stories that the images could tell. Her father left behind thousands of old family photos, a mixture of his family, her mom’s family, and her own childhood. She found herself drawn to the stories she could create.

Margaret resides in Central Florida. Her art studio is located in historical Lake Mary, FL and is open by appointment. Margaret travels the country showcasing her paintings at art festivals.
